“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed-in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52) “我如今把一件奥秘的事告诉你们。我们不是都要睡觉，乃是都要改变，就在一霎时，眨眼之间，号筒好痛末次吹响的时候。因号筒要响，死人要复活成为不朽坏的，我们也要改变。” （哥林多前书1 15：51-52）
意思
“in the twinkling of an eye”如果某些事在轉眼間就發生了，那么這就表示事情發生得很快。
來源及應用
哥林多前書1是由使徒一個叫保羅所的使徒寫的，他在迫害基督徒期間的時候遇見了上帝，于是他從此歸的信基督仰從此被改變。在這本書中，保羅提醒我們：肉體和精神是不能繼承天國的。當上帝再次降臨的時候，我們會容易腐爛化的身體就會立刻被改變更新，使得我們霎時間就進入了天國。
