bible verse

Genesis 4:17

meaning

It originated from the Hebrew name חֲנוֹך (Chanokh), meaning “dedicated” or “devoted”. Several characters in the Bible bore this name: Cain called his eldest son Enoch and also gave the same name to the city he built. Another Enoch was the father of Methuselah and the great grandfather of Noah. He walked with God for more than 300 years.
