SELBL Summer Missions 2019 – Bring the gospel back to Jerusalem!

– Join our summer English mission camp organized by SELBL () and local Chinese church in Israel/Tel Aviv.

Dates: 29 July Monday to 2 August 2019 Friday

Price on the ground (exclusive of airfare) : HK$2,500 Admin Fee / GBP 250

Price inclusive of Airfare ^: HK$10,500 (depart from Hong Kong) / GBP650 (depart from UK)

Price on the ground includes pre-camp briefing, accommodation during the mission period, local transport, and team leaders’ expenses. If you arrive before 29/7 or stay beyond 2/8, the extra costs involved will not be covered. Remaining balance, if any, will be donated towards the ministries of SELBL, and/or local church in Tel Aviv and ministries of partnering organisations.

\1. Target Audience: Overseas Chinese, international students, local Jews in Israel

\2. Duties of voluntary teachers/teaching assistants: Teach English through Bible (ACE course), street evangelism, discipleship, direct personal evangelism, Christian counseling and healing, prepare teaching materials according to students’ English level

\3. Requirements: Mature Christian, fluent in English, teaching experience preferred but not necessary, willing to abide by camp guidelines, must attend ACE course teacher training* and pre-camp briefing and training sessions and submit a reflective journal of 500 words after the camp.

*ACE course teacher training will be arranged in Hong Kong between 3 July and 5 July. For details, please refer to flyer.

\4. Deadline: 10 July 2019 (only limited spaces available, first-come-first-served)

\5. Enrollment: Visit go to “Volunteering” section to download volunteer application form and church recommendation form. Send the completed forms before deadline to wingkee@selbl.org.
